FEATURES AND BENEFITS
HSB³ is a new high speed connector series that utilizes standard components from our HDB³ connector series. Data rates as high as 3.125 Gbps (per differential pair) are achieved by utilizing a partially populated HDB³ contact arrangement.
Amphenol® HSB³ connector series offers the following:
- High Speed connector utilizing HDB³ inserts & contacts, configurable for data rates up to 3.125 Gbps per differential pair
- High density contact pattern: .070” x .060” grid spacing
- Low mated height: .500 from mother board to row A of daughterboard
- Utilizes the high performance brush contact system for reliability in harsh environments
- Mounting hardware, keys and guide pins have been combined to occupy less board space
- Available in the following contact arrangements
- 40 contacts (3 differential pair @ 3.125 Gbps, 20 low speed signal)
- 80 contacts (7 differential pair @ 3.125 Gbps, 40 low speed signal)
- 120 contact (10 differential pair @ 3.125 Gbps, 60 low speed signal)
- 160 contacts (13 differential pair @ 3.125 Gbps, 80 low speed signal)
