b2ap3_thumbnail_AUSA-Logo.jpgI know I'm potentially using poor journalistic practices by paraphrasing and not properly citing sources, but you could clearly hear people are pleasantly pleased as they're walking around the AUSA show in Washington D.C. this week. You hear things like "This show is much better than I thought it would be" and "I'm surprised that this many companies are here". Even during this time of sequestration, budget cuts, and government shutdowns, the enthusiasm for much of the exhibitors and attendees of the show remains very high.

Our feelings, as Amphenol Aerospace representatives, are the same.  It's always refreshing to participate in a show like AUSA and see so many fruits of our collective labor.  We spend a great deal of time in the factory or in the offices working with customers and it's not too often that we get to see the end product on which our connectors and cable assemblies are used.  When you walk around at AUSA and see ground vehicles, radar systems, soldier systems, radios, and avionics boxes, all with Amphenol connectors on them, it's a satisfying feeling.  The hard work we put in actually means something to more people than we realize.  Here's hoping this opportunity to show off our work continues for many years to come.
