Bell finalizes deal with Nigeria for AH-1Z Viper attack helicopters

The $455 million contract calls for 12 Viper helicopters.

U.S. helicopter manufacturer Bell Textron has finalized a deal with Nigeria for 12 AH-1Z Viper attack helicopters.

 

The Vipers are intended for the Nigerian Air Force in a contract valued at $455 million.

 

The Vipers will be manufactured at the company’s H-1 production line in Amarillo, Texas, which also assembles the company’s UH-1Y Venom utility helicopter.
