Evolution 2.0 VITA 46.30 Connectors are ruggedized, high-performance board-level connectors developed to support advanced data rates in excess of 25 Gbps and enable protocols like 100GBASE-KR4 Ethernet and PCIe Gen 4. Designed as an evolution of the legacy VITA 46.0 connector, it maintains the same form factor and intermateability while introducing smaller PCB hole sizes and optimized pin designs to reduce crosstalk and improve signal integrity.
R-VPX Evolution 2.0 connectors comply with the VITA 46.30 standard and offer enhanced electrical performance for harsh environments. These connectors feature hybrid configurations, supporting mixed signals (power, single-ended, and differential) within the same assembly for integration with existing VPX systems. With reduced pin sizes and improved retention force considerations, this solution delivers superior signal integrity for next-generation OpenVPX architectures.
The R-VPX Evolution 2.0 is part of a broader ecosystem with electrical requirements defined in the VITA 68.x family of standards.
