The potential sale is worth an estimated cost of $2.6 billion.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) formally notified Congress of the proposed sale, which includes nine helicopters, 22 General Electric T700-GE-401 turboshaft engines, GPS/INS navigation systems, radar warning receivers, missile warning systems, and an assortment of defensive and targeting equipment such as GAU-21 machine guns, AN/ALE-47 countermeasures dispensers, and IZLID 200P infrared lasers.
