The Danish Defence Ministry has released a tender seeking at least a few small drones for ISR functions.

The Ministry is seeking to purchase at least three NATO Class 1 small unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and fire support.

The Ministry also seeks sustainment, support, and training as part of a potential order, as well as two ground control stations, a primary sensor package, synthetic aperture radar, and other associated equipment.

As part of the tender, the drones must be capable of vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) functionality and be able to take off in temperatures of minus 10 degrees Celsius. They must also be able to operate and land in temperatures of minus 40 degrees Celsius as well.
