Poland approves large order for HIMARS rocket launchers

Poland recently approved a framework agreement with Lockheed Martin to acquire 486 additional M142 HIMARS rocket launchers.
The launcher systems will be assembled in Poland with initial deliveries expected in 2026.
The order will increase Poland’s stock of launchers from 20 to more than 500. Poland initially ordered a batch of 20 HIMARS launchers in 2019, and the first launchers from that order were delivered in May.
