European low-cost airline Ryanair plans to acquire 300 new 737 MAX-10 aircraft from Boeing in what would be the largest single order in the carrier’s history.

The order calls for 150 aircraft with the option for 150 more.

The 737 MAX-10 is the largest of the four variants in Boeing’s family of 737-MAX aircraft – the fourth and latest generation of Boeing’s 737. The MAX-10 variant offers 230 seats and is 43.8 meters long.

The MAX-10 is the largest MAX variant but has the shortest range of the four variants. The MAX-10 has a range of 3,100 nautical miles versus 3,800 nautical miles for the MAX-7.
