State Department approves Apache sale to Poland

The potential deal includes 96 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters and associated weapons and equipment.

The U.S. State Department recently approved a potential sale of 96 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters to Poland.

 

The deal, which is valued at up to $12 million, also includes associated weapons and equipment, including 1,844 AGM-114R2 Hellfire Missiles, 460 AGM-179A Joint Air-to-Ground Missiles, and 508 Stinger 92K Block I Missiles.

 

Boeing and Lockheed Martin are the prime contractors for the deal.
