U.S. Army Awards $99.6M NGC2 Prototype Contract to Anduril Industries
Aug. 14, 2025
The U.S. Army, through Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, and Network (PEO C3N), awarded Anduril Industries a $99.6 million Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreement on July 18, 2025, to develop a prototype command and control (C2) architecture for its Next‑Generation Command and Control (NGC2) initiative.
Anduril will lead a distributed team—“Team Anduril”—which includes Palantir, Striveworks, Govini, Instant Connect Enterprise, Research Innovations, Inc., and Microsoft to deliver a scalable, integrated hardware-software C2 suite using a common data layer across vehicles and devices.
The prototype will be delivered within an 11‑month period to the 4th Infantry Division for live experimentation, with integration across mechanized vehicles and direct soldier involvement in development iterations.
This award follows an 18‑month competitive experimentation process launched in late 2023.
